USING PHOTOGRAPHS

In this project all the artists used photographs in some way: both as a part of the artwork and to keep a record of the work. Some photographs were produced digitally, some with film. Some were scanned into the computer and changed on screen, others were simply glued together as a collage.

The Multimedia Maps book relies on the photographs that were taken of the project (and in many cases video and sound were used to tell stories or record events), but of course not everything is photographed and some experiences cannot be captured on film. Inevitably, you are only seeing part of the picture.
